Pune has become largest city in the Maharashtra
As per geographical area Pune has become largest city in the Maharashtra by including 23 new villages in the existing City.
Pune municipal corporation (PMC) will now have geographical area of 516.16 sq.Km.
It has replaced brihanmumbai municipal corporation (BMC) which has 440 sq.
Km area. Pune now has become the seventh largest city in the country.
पुणे आता राज्यातील सर्वात मोठे शहर
तेवीस गावांचा पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या
हद्दीत नव्याने समावेश केल्याने पुणे हे राज्यातील सर्वाधिक भौगोलिक क्षेत्रफळ
असलेले शहर ठरले आहे. त्याचप्रमाणे पुणे हे देशातील सातव्या
क्रमांकाचे शहर बनले आहे.
हद्दीमध्ये वाढ केल्यानंतर पुणे शहराचे(PMC)
भौगोलिक क्षेत्रफळ आता 516.16 चौरस किलोमीटर झाले आहे.
याआधी 440 चौरस किलोमीटर क्षेत्रफळ
असलेले बृहन्मुंबई म्युनिसिपल कार्पोरेशन (BMC) महाराष्ट्रातील
सर्वात मोठे शहर होते.
