- Tropical Cyclone in Arabian Sea in pre monsoon period (April to June)
- Named by Myanmar- meaning of Tauktae is highly vocal lizard, in Burmese language
- It is fourth cyclone in Arabian sea in consecutive years- in 2018- Cyclone Mekanu, in 2019 Cyclone Vayu- in 2020- Cyclone Nisarga
- All these cyclones have been categorized as ‘Severe Cyclone or above’
- As impact of Global Warming Arabian Sea is becoming hotbed of cyclones.
